Each person is distinguished or similar to others by their worldview, preferences and point of view.
The ability to create characters who are original and have their own point of view helps to create comedy, because comedy is often built on the confrontation of the hero’s beliefs and the reality that surrounds him. When the characters have different points of view, the trick is to avoid the arguments in the scene and find the fun and comedic tension that makes the show more interesting and the audience empathizes with the characters. In this workshop we will play with “character’s point of view” and create characters that are expressive, have their own unique opinion and way of seeing the world, and are fun to play and watch.
