🟣 A smile always appears on my face when, after my workshops, I see the group not only integrated but also smiling.
I also smile because once again in my life, I applied the “YES, AND…” improv principle, and an unexpected proposal turned into a real event.
On Friday, I had the chance to meet online with someone from across the ocean who wanted to organize an IMPRO workshop in Warsaw on Monday (yesterday) – for themselves and their newly formed international team. Why an IMPRO Workshop? Because they had once participated in such a workshop and knew it was a great method for quickly and interactively integrating a group – full of laughter and ice-breaking.
🎯 Yesterday, 7 people from 7 different countries met in person for the first time at my workshop. I managed not only to open them up and build bonds but also to address several key topics for the team:
• Cooperation
• Common goals
• Listening and communication
• Supporting ideas
• Not judging ideas
• Multitasking and delegation
• Trust • Accepting mistakes
• Letting go of competition
✅ Just a few hours, and so much achieved!
The workshop was filled with humor and reflection. It was about getting to know each other, building bonds, and gaining a shared perspective on the team’s goals. I also introduced a new activity that helped the team reflect on their first meeting and its significance, and it worked perfectly!
⭐️ And something that brings me the most joy! The visible change in the participants – from initial distance at the start of the workshop to openness at the end. Closed postures turned into open ones, and visible discomfort with the unknown became smiles and relaxation! What more could I ask for?
🟣 Want to experience the magic of improv (IMPRO)? I’d be happy to answer any questions!
