🔴As our friend Katarzyna Michalska once said, sometimes it’s hard to arrange a rehearsal even when you live in the same city.
That’s why I appreciate the WePolak project with Jeff Michalski so much. Despite the distance and living on two different continents, we are able to collaborate, perform, and engage with our wonderful friends around the world. It requires dedication, determination, hard work, and financial investment to make ends meet and do what we love.
Thanks to this project, we’ve had the opportunity to perform in many places where we hadn’t played and teach before. This was made possible by the kindness and openness of so many people who hosted us, helped organize performances and workshops, and shared the stage with us. Everyone we met and who helped us in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, the UK, and the USA is deep in our hearts, and we appreciate all you have done for us!
Sometimes when I want to stop because it’s tough, I remind myself that the sky is the limit, and only by continuing can I achieve something that once seemed unattainable. WePolak is proof of that and is my pride and joy.
